Biblioteca Aiap / Fondo Cini Boeri
Il Fondo è l'esito di una donazione della Famiglia Boeri di una parte della biblioteca professionale dell'architetto e designer Cini Boeri (1924). Si tratta in particolare di una serie di annate di riviste di architettura, arredamento, design, arte pubblicate tra gli anni Cinquanta e Ottanta del ’900. Con una certa completezza sono presenti le riviste “L'architettura“. Cronache e storia” fondata da Bruno Zevi nel 1955; “L'Architecture d'Aujourd'hui” fondata nel 1930 dall'architetto e scultore André Bloc; “The Architectural Review”, mensile pubblicato a Londra dal 1896; “Industrial Design”, rivista pubblicata
a New York dal 1954; “Modo”, rivista italiana di design pubblicata dal 1977 e fondata
da Valerio Castelli, Giovanni Cutolo e Alessandro Mendini.
Il Fondo contempla poi numeri sparsi delle riviste “Domus”, “Abitare”, “L'Oeil”, “Vogue”, “Pirelli” e singoli numeri di altre testate. Oltre che punto di vista culturale, le riviste sono interessanti per l’evoluzione della grafica editoriale e delle pubblicità in esse contenuta.
