Thomas Mann

The table of the law

The tables of the law tells the story of the early life of Moses, of his preparations for leading his people out of Egypt, of the exodus it self and incidents at the oasis Kadesh, and of the engraving of the stone tables of the law at “Sinai”. This story, one of the most dramatic and signatificant in the Bible, has been given new life and meaning in the richly evocativge prose of Thomas Mamm. Like Joseph and His Brothers, it represents Mann’s art at its best.

Sovraccoperta di Paul Rand.
