Il volume documenta la quinta edizione di AWDA, AIAP Women in Design Award, il prestigioso premio biennale internazionale dedicato alle designer della comunicazione visiva.<\/p>\n<p>Il titolo riprende proprio la domanda posta durante la cerimonia di premiazione, sottolineando la necessit\u00e0 di osservare con attenzione ruoli, spazi e linguaggi che ancora oggi vengono assegnati o negati. <em>How Many Women Are in the Room?<\/em> raccoglie i progetti selezionati e premiati, offrendo una panoramica ampia e articolata di linguaggi e approcci innovativi, frutto del lavoro di studentesse, professioniste e ricercatrici.<\/p>\n<p>Progetti visuali di designer da tutto il mondo si affiancano a saggi, focus e interviste che attraversano temi legati a design e femminismo: lavoro, diritti, disparit\u00e0, linguaggi, attivismo. The volume documents the fifth edition of AWDA \u2013 AIAP Women in Design Award, the prestigious international biennial award dedicated to women designers in visual communication.<\/p>\n<p>The title takes up the very question raised during the award ceremony, highlighting the need to carefully examine the roles, spaces, and languages that are still, even today, assigned or denied. <em>How Many Women Are in the Room?<\/em> gathers the selected and award-winning projects, offering a broad and multifaceted overview of innovative languages and approaches, the result of the work of students, professionals, and researchers.<\/p>\n<p>Visual projects by women designers from all over the world are presented alongside essays, focuses, and interviews that explore themes connecting design and feminism: work, rights, inequality, language, and activism.
