The new digital platform<\/strong> of the Graphic Design Documentation Centre of AIAP (AIAP CDPG<\/strong>) is now online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The platform offers visitors an overview of all the funds<\/strong>, encouraging free exploration<\/strong> and cross-referencing between the contents of the archive and library. It provides in-depth analysis<\/strong> and thematic paths<\/strong>, as well as the option for users to create personalised collections<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new digital platform aims to promote the association’s heritage and is the perfect continuation of AIAP CDPG’s numerous activities in Italy and abroad. These activities include proposing and producing initiatives, collaborating with loans to projects proposed by third parties, organising meetings, visits and lessons with classes from various institutes, and supporting research projects by students, teachers and professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the year of AIAP’s 80th anniversary<\/strong>, this additional project enables the association to share its heritage and make it accessible to as many people as possible. This heritage, which is a historical testimony of a profession and a discipline, as well as Italian and international visual culture<\/strong>, is essentially a cultural and collective heritage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new digital platform aims to stimulate consultations, research projects, exhibitions and dissemination, and foster relationships with members, teachers, researchers, bodies and institutions, reaching an Italian and international audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project, “Piattaforma Digitale di Valorizzazione del Centro di Documentazione sul Progetto Grafico” (Digital Platform for the Enhancement of the Graphic Design Documentation Centre), has been funded by the European Union \u2013 Next Generation EU, as part of the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan), in accordance with Directorial Decree No. 385, dated 19\/10\/2022, under Sub-investment 3.3.2: Support for innovation and digital transition in the cultural and creative sectors.
