Inevitably, technical innovation also brought with it innovative aesthetic requirements in the design of typefaces (type design) to adapt to the tastes and needs of new and increasingly pervasive channels and forms of communication.\u00a0\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/section>\r\n\t\n\n\t\t<div class=\"qzr-dynamic-blocks\" data-block=\"fund-content\" id=\"content\" data-target=\"content\" aria-label=\"Info\"  data-target=\"content\" data-label=\"Info\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div tabindex=\"-1\" class=\"anchors-menu\" data-active=\"content\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"anchors-menu-mobile-nav\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"anchors-menu-mobile-nav-item anchors-menu-mobile-nav-prev disabled icon-prev\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"anchors-menu-mobile-nav-item anchors-menu-mobile-nav-next icon-next\"><\/span>\n\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"main-column\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"loading\"><\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"main-column\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"fund-content-text col-7\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\n<p>The collection consists of over 100 pieces, including typographic specimens, brochures, flyers, typeface samples, manuals, and books devoted to typography, relating to the second half of the 20th century. There are numerous brochures presenting the most important type foundries, technical manuals, and special printed matter, such as a wine list designed and composed by Cassandre (1931). <br>In addition to these materials are a number of volumes on the history and criticism of typography signed by Stanley Morison, Eric Gill, among others, and historical magazines (\u00abPenrose Annual\u00bb, \u00abSignature\u00bb and \u00abU&amp;lc\u00bb).
